How hard it is to lose a brother!. Jack has always been avery important person in my life. We were only 14 months apart in age--I was oldest--and we had many interests and friends in common. I was always proud of Jack--He was good looking, talented and had a wayof drawing people to him. When we were children we roller skated a lot, played at Mosswood park nearly every day and always went to the Saturday afternoon matinees at the old Senator theater in Oakland. As a family we enjoyed early radio programs, played table games and especially loved our summer camping trips to Pacific Valley in Alpine County. We had the company of some of our first cousins and assorted friends to hike and play games with, as well as participate in our nightly campfires. We learned to swim in the icey pacific creek, damned up by our fathers to make a pool. Jack and I had many friends in common as we grew up and remained good companions. When we both were attending U.C. Berkeley we took a class in archeology together and shared our very expensive ($7.00) book. Jack would often give me an opinion of a prospective boy-friend. One was ruled out because his appearance in the gym proved that he had skinny legs. In later years, raising families we were not in touch so much, but I always enjoyed Jack's company and his wry sense of humor. Most of his friends didn't know he had a sister, but I will never forget my brother and the fun we had growing up in Oakland. I"m still very proud of him and his career as an architect, and as a husband and father. Still good looking in his 80's and still much loved by his many friends, neighbors and colleagues. Loved you, Jack----------Jeane

Jack LLoyd - Loved him dearly-The many years our families spent in Pacific Valley .The few times I had hairbrained ideas - he would listen and would draw up something with me - but I still dream .The funny way he would relate to his father ,instead Dad he would refer to him as "Spike"(once in awhile we still cook flapjacks on the aluminum griddel that Spike made fo our camping excursions)He often talked obout brother Ralph and sister Jean .I had forgotten about little brotherBob . He and his wife were always fun people to be around .I'm realy going to miss these people . Goodby Jack - Billy

Jack was always a friend to me and my brothers and sister while growing up next door in Lodi. He was even very tolerant of our antics, like accidently throwing balls and toys through his windows. He let us know when we made too much noise late at night, but he was always fair. Recently, I enjoyed saying hi and having a drink with him when I was home with the family during holdiays. I enjoyed his smile, firm hand shake and conversation. We will miss Jack and think of him always on our trips back to Lodi. Kenny, we wish you and your family all the best and we will keep your family in our prayers.

Jack designed our home in Napa in 1968 where I am still living. It has stood the test of time due to Jack's skills. It was sort of experimental as far as houses were concerned for it is all oversized brick. We enjoyed many good times when I was living in Lodi up until 1968. He will be missed. Glad to see he wished to support the Bear Backers through the golf scholarship. Go Bears

Although, I did not know Jack for very long, I was very fond of him. I'll miss being able to see him from time to time, and I wish him a good journey home. My husband, Charles, Jack's nephew, is out of town, but he loved his uncle and and sends his love to everyone.

Jack Thanks for the Memories .. You brought many smiles to me with your great brand of humor. I will always remember you in your saddle shoes drinking a scotch and listing to your favorite jazz music? We shared the same passion of antique collecting and thanks again for the old post office? You will be missed greatly.
