I will forever cherish all of your jokes, stories, life lessons, funny songs, and a hug, given to my sister and myself every Saturday night at dinner when we were younger. I will especially cherish our mutual dislike for raisins. I am honored and blessed to have had the privilege to know and love you.

Growing up, my grandparents lived far, far away, and I hardly knew them. Roland was the closest thing I had to a grandfather. He taught me how to cheat at solitare with a smile and a wink. I loved him so much that I named my son after him. He cheats at cards with a smile and a wink too. I guess that says it all.
