When we were new to the area of Arnold, it was Helen who greated us on our first visit to the local Moose. She asked us to join their table and we've been friends ever since. Since then, we've enjoyed many evenings with both Tom and Helen. She will truely be missed. Our thoughts are with her family. May they all find peace, I know Helen has. Grace & Hal

Tom and family - I was sad to learn of Helen's passing. She was so full of life and committed to her family. Helen was my 'desk partner' when the GAIN Program settled into the HSA building. I will always remember her sense of humor, cheerfulness and sweet singing voice. My sincere best wishes to you in this time of sorrow.

I wanted to share with you that I treasured my friendship with Helen. I learned from Helen. Helen was a true professional, hard working, dedicated and totally responsible. She added to the quality of life of each person she had contact with. Helen achieved her life long goal of becoming a Social Worker. It takes a special person to get three college degrees while doing a very demanding daytime job. Helen was very special for that and for many other reasons. Helen was beautiful, in body and in soul. She always looked so poised and lady-like. She looked very beautiful today. The lovely bracelet that she wore today was just her style, so pretty. Helen's celebration of passing was one of the nicest and most comforting that I have been to. The pictures of Helen were a joy and wonderful to see. Thank you for sharing these. I loved the "young mother" pictures, because I know how much she loved Jeff, Marci and Missy. I cherish my memories of Helen, these bring comfort to me. Helen knows that I loved her and love her still. Helen is at peace now and has gone home, we who loved her can only wait. Aloha, Helen! Linda Valadez, 8-3-05

Many memories come to mind when I am thinking of Helen: getting to know her as Opal Craig's niece-met her when she was 12. I was impressed as she was frying chicken( since her mom was at work) She was a very responsible girl! Later we spent dinners together at Aunt Opal's house, went to the same high school, she living down the street from Aunt Opal and Uncle John Craig's home on Marshal Ave in Modesto, playing the piano for her when she practiced with BuckTownsend(her high school friend) So many years ago!! Sorry that we lost contact over the years. So sorry to hear of her passing. God Bless her soul.

Dear family, Jack & I are sorry for the loss of Helen. We feel very bad that we didn't get to see her before she died. Knowing how involved the moves for both families were, it is understandable that we didn't see you, Tom and she. Tom, Jack & I are here to help in any way we can, just call. We love you and Helen so much. It feels surreal. Missy and Marcy call us if you need us, we love you too. Jack and Sarah

Helen was such a delight to be around. Her calmness and peace spread to everyone in her company. I truly have missed having her in our Hawaiian Club. I wish we could have gotten together more in the last few years. All of us at the Hawaiian Club will miss Helen and her calm spirit. We pray that the Lord will bless all of you with strength to get through this tough time of loss. However, we will all see Helen again in Heaven where there is no suffering, only joy and peace.
