Aunt Lena was always very special to me and my family. She was the best cook and was always preserving fruits and vegetables. I particularily loved her dill pickles. She will always hold a place in the hearts of myself and my family. God bless her family. Bill Horst

Lena was the best sister anyone could have and I miss her. She loved life and people, and she loved me even as I loved her. She was a good friend to all who knew her. I will miss her positive attitude and her ability to lift up the fallen in spirit. She was my link to 12 years of her knowledge of a past of which I was not a part. I know she is with our Lord and our loved ones who have gone before, so I will be content with my many wonderful memories. Now she can say, "I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course. We are in the Bay area for a couple of week taking care of Maggiora's property while they are on a church choir tour, Janice and Rob and theit high school kids. Blessing on you. Dear Beck Family, We share the loss of Lena and her lovely ways with all of you. We knew her as a member of First Unitied Methodist Church. When my husband Bob and I first started to attend church there some 15 yeas ago, Lena was so caring and welcoming to us. We always felt important to her. Lena will be missed geatly! Cliff and Lena were a big part of my childhood memories. I am sure that her and my grandmother are having a LARGE time together in heaven. I wish I could see their joy at being together again along with Grandpa and Cliff... We will miss her... but she is at peace. God bless her loved ones that are missing her and love her. Dear Bill, I am so sorry to see that your mother has passed away I know that you and your family will miss her terribly as I do mine. You will have many happy memories of her keep those alive always. I remember her as a child when we lived on Tokay Street. You on one end and us on the other end . Your sister Sharron and my sister Vera are the same age, or I should say were the same age as cancer claimed Verna on the 25th of June of this year, As we were looking for pictures for a memorial board I came across some of the two of them when they were just about one or one and a half years of age. Her name was Verna Plath and she is still in the obits of Lodi Funeral Home. Please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of your precious mother. Ramona Kroll
