Obituary of Eric Wayne Field

Mr. Eric Wayne Field of Lodi passed away unexpectedly Monday August 1, 2005 in a Lodi hospital at the age of 38. Mr. Field was born October 10, 1966 in Seattle, Washington to Donald and Sharon Field. Mr. Field worked as a Master Auto Technician for Chase Chevrolet in Stockton for the past 12 years. He also was a volunteered mentor for the AYES; an occupational school program in Stockton. Mr. Field was a proud United States Marine Corp and Gulf War Veteran. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed cycling, camping, hiking, playing the saxophone, restoring classic cars and spending time with his family and friends. He will be best remembered as a loving father and loyal friend. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving fianc Michelle Hayes of Lodi, cherished children, Dustin and Liam Field of Modesto; Brynna Field of Modesto; Mother Sharon Field of Sunnyvale; 1 brother, Jason Field of Charlotte, North Carolina; grandmother, Hazel Bauder of North Hollywood; future in-laws Michael, Kathy and Melanie Hayes of Stockton. He was preceded in death by his father Donald Field in 2000. A chapel service will be held Monday August 8, 2005, 10:00 am at the Lodi Funeral Home, followed by interment at the Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday and Sunday 12:00 -6:00pm at the Lodi Funeral Home. Remembrances can be sent to the charity of donors choice.
