Barney If ever a man reaps what he has sown it was Barney Truelock. He was a cowboy ---- in every since of the word. He lived to work and was respected by those who worked with him. A bit slight in stature, he was tough as nails and no one ever said he didn't do more than his share. He loved animals, wild or tame; they would come to him with no fear. He was known to feed wild rabbits on the Ranch by the score and of course his birds never went hungry. He nursed more calves to health than anyone can remember. He just had that touch with all critters and they knew it. There were no strangers in Barney's life, the moment he met someone they became Life Long Friends, the downside of a long and good life is that so many of your dear friends go before you do. So he adopted the Glen View Cemetery (or vice Versa) and for many years all that it has become, is because of Barney and his respect for the Clements Community and the many friends and family there. He would trim the branches that "Touched His Hat" so everyone could see from the Front to the Back - He should have a Medal for that. Behind every good man is a Great Woman, sometimes "prodding" and sometimes just "Holding On" - Ina and Barney were inseparable as it was meant to be. Who knows but God why it should be any different ..... a Hard act to follow. Just to watch them on the dance floor, gliding and sliding with every gal's eye sneaking a peak and wondering why their "Beau" couldn't dance like that. We'll miss him driving "Ms Ina" to town for a burger and stopping in to get the mail and chat.....my that "ol" "Red Ford" has some miles on it. God must have a horse to ride, fences to work and sunsets to trail off into ..... and all those friends and family to join up with. Until we meet up there we'll have one "Hell of a Job" to take up where you left off down here. But we know Heaven will be perfectly done and trimmed up to the top of your hat. GOD SPEED WE MISS YOU Ed & Winnie

Dear Ina So sorry to hear about Barney. May God give you the peace of knowing he is in a better place, even though those left behind will miss him greatly. The few times I have ran into you at the store, I felt Barney was a very nice person! I have not seen you in a long time, but I still think about all my co-workers of Clements at times. Take care and God Bless Wilma Sanserino

I met Barney and Ina while employed at Payless Market. I never saw a time when Barney didn't have a smile, kind word and a hug for those around him. He had such a love for people and was an inspiration to the rest of us on how to treat others. Ina, I am so very sorry for your loss. You and Barney always seemed to have such a wonderful relationship and I am truly saddened to see the passing of Barney. Much love, Renee Zahorowski

Barney's passing marks the end of the real life cowboy in the Clements area. It seems as Barney faded so did the feeling Clements was a quaint little country town. A new house here, another there and the smell of ranches was gone but Barney and Ina would show up at our re- staurant and it felt like the old days again. They dined with us at our home on many occasions and shared many of their birthdays and ours. We love them both and they will always be in our memories of good times.

Barney was the "Egg deliverer" around Webster's Country Burger while I was there! Those fresh eggs were the best, and he was the sweetest man to bring them up to the drive-in for all of us who worked there. I enjoyed talking with him and Ina when they would come up for lunch or stop by for a small drink. Barney, I hope those darned "Jimmy Dean Sausages" didn't contribute to your passing! He loved those things! I know that you will be dearly missed around Clements by your family and friends (and your little dog, too). Please accept my sincere sympathy, Ina. If you need anything, please call me at 369-0956.
