To Uncle Art's family, I often think about our Thanksgiving dinners that were hosted at Uncle Art's mothers house "Ma's". Later they were hosted at Uncle Oscar (the eldest brother)and Aunt Marcie Prudhels home. I looked forward all year for these Thanksgiving dinners because as soon as we walk through the door, my family was greeted with hugs, kisses and the aroma of the wonderful food we will soon be enjoying. During all of this abudance, we were privilage to enjoy Uncle Art and Aunt Francis' homemade wine and home-cured olives. Yum Yum!! My mother, Lillian would sit and eat the whole jar of olives. Then with full stomach, the women would start the clean up and with Uncle Art's glass of wine in hand, the men would mossie into the other room to start the "Poker game." This memory is so special to me, because as I got older, I would be drying dishes while looking out into the other room, seeing 4 brothers enjoying each other's comapny while playing cards. Seeing Uncle Oscar, Uncle Art, Uncle Ed and Uncle Ray with their sons laughing and arguing over whose bluffing, makes me long for "the good ole days." I will now be missing two of those Prudhel brother, my Uncle Oscar and my Uncle Art. My prayer is that one day we will all be together enjoying all of God's abudance in heaven. With all my love, Judy

Even though it's been a while since I last saw Art, I still remember him as being a friendly man and a caring father. I can recall him helping out at some of our Little League baseball practices and games. I will always picture him with a General Mills hat on. And I also know that my mother and father respected him. Take care guys.

We are thinking of all the fun times we have had over the years at Pismo...the wonderful Pig Feeds - laughing and eating and dancing! Watching all the kids get married, having their own children...watching them all grow up having fun together. We love you all very much and are holding you close in our hearts and prayers. With love from MaryEllen, Kyle, Donna, Lauren, Kate, Claire and Richie

In memory of my loving and caring brother... I always remember and think about the time in the late 1970's when Art and Francis brought their family up to Fort Bragg to meet Jim and I and our family. Art, Jim Dixon (my husband), Larry Reiswig (my daughter's husband), David, Patrick and Craig went out fishing in Jim's fishing boat. Myself, Francis and my daughter Judy stayed back at the trailer in hopes they would bring back dinner. And of course, the good fishermen that they are, they brought back plenty of salmon to eat! The next night, Art and Francis, graciously took our families out to a famous Piedmont Hotel/Restaurant to eat dinner to thank us for the weekend trip. This memory for me includes a lot of laughter and good times. I will remember the times spent at Art and Francis's home for family affairs. The way they would open up their home to family and friends will always be in my heart. I am thankful for the annual Christmas lunches that included Art and Francis, Ray and Alice Prudhel, Ed and Marlene Prudhel, Betty Aipperspach and her daughter Bobbi and myself. Although our time spent together has been few, our get-togethers have been more meaningful and precious through the years. Dear Francis: Myself and my family are praying for strength and peace for you and your family. Love, Lillian

I was fortunate to have had a summer job at General Mills while in college and Art was one of my supervisors. He was one of those individuals that I've met and remembered as a quality person. I offer my condolences and respect to his family.

Our deepest sympathy to your family, your in our thoughts and prayers. I worked with Art for some 30 years at General Mills, he was always a square shooter and easy to get along with. As the years go by and we get older we are now seeing Dave at least once a week at the drug store and I believe he takes after his father. It is always a shock to see a friend has passed away.
