We were so saddened to read about Ann. The loving tribute written about her was so fitting. Altho it has been some years since we have seen Ann and you, Tom, we remember the dancing days and what fun "the Merrymakers" had. We had it good, didn't we? With sympathy, Fern and Wendell Davis

To my Darling Ann, we have had a wonderful life together, but your life was cut short and was so sudden. We still had many years to go and I miss you terribly. Your presence in our home was always consoling loving and pleasant, and I miss those times. But we'll meet again and can be together for eternity. All my love my sweet, your loving husband, Tom

I have had the pleasure of doing Ann's hair for several years. Her appointments always had to be after 1:30 in the afternoon because "Tom's making lunch". When she arrived I would always hear about the delicious meal "my sweetie" had prepared. I looked forward to seeing my Anne on her appointments...her thick German accent and the twinkle in her eyes brought joy to the salon. She told me of her parents, her childhood in Germany...the good and the bad...and always about her family...those still in Germany and the family she and Tom had made together. When speaking of Tom and her children and grandchildren....that is when those little eyes really twinkled! How luckly I am to have had so many "after lunch" appointments with such a special friend.
