I love you mom, I love you Melanie, and we love you keoni. We will see each other soon on the other side. I know you’re all holding it down until cross over to be with you all again. My mom, my sister, and my nephew, we will always be together. Laughing, singing, and dancing to our favorite songs. Just like 2 scoops of raisins rolling around and smiling until our cheeks hurt.

From the minute I realized Janet was gone I missed her and so will so many that she touch their hearts. She was always happy and proud to see you. Janet was always there for me and help me be my own person. She never would take all the credit she said I did the work but in reality she lead the way, she was the big sister I never had and I loved her dearly and a piece of my heart belongs to hear forever. It's hard to know the right words to say. I was fortunate to know Janet and Keoni through her sister Pat. Janet came to a grandmother shower my friends at work gave me. She loved being a grandmother and talked alot about Keoni and how special he was to her. Pat and I were good friends and she would talk about her family all the time so I feel I know all of you. I met some of you at Pat's memorial. My thoughts are with you and I wanted you to know that Janet and Pat have given me good memories for my life. They were so kind and loving and loved their family very much. I know you loved them too. They will always be in my heart.

Dear Melanie, I worked with your mother when we were in our twenties at EDD. In fact, I often visited your home in Thornton when you were a baby. I remember how proud your mother was of you and how much she loved you. Unfortunately, I moved on to a new job and we lost touch with each other. She was truly one of the friendliest, funniest, and intelligent women I have ever know. I am so sorry for your loss. May you always keep the memories of her close to you.

Janet was a true friend to me. She had a sweetness about her that is very rare. We met when she hired me to work for her at EDD. We became instant friends and during our 13 year friendship I was lucky enough to get to know her loving family, to whom I want to express my deepest sympathies! I remember when my Mom use to take me over to Melanie's house in Thorton to play and I remember how smiley Janet use to be really cool with everything we did! I mean I don't remember her ever yelling at us or grounding Melanie! I also remember her being a big humungus help to all our teachers escpecially Mrs. Towne on all our great Field trips and school activities! She allways seemed to make us all looking forward to the trips and activities! Even though I didn't stay close to her after school. I miss her and Melanie and james baby Keoni alot for the sadness it brings to everybody that knows! Janet was a very loving, caring person. She was always friendly to everyone. She babysat my daughter, who was Michael's cousin, when they were both very young. She was wonderful with children. I am so sad that this happened and I am praying for Janet's family that have to go thru life without her.

For years I had heard about what a wonderful, beautiful, & caring woman Janet Jensen was. I never doubted this as her daughter Melanie is ALL of those things and more. I was finally blessed to meet Janet at her home this past summer, and I will never forget her. She is a beautiful soul. You all are in my constant thoughts.

Dearest Melanie, my deepest prayers are you. This was such a sad news to hear early Tuesday morning Sept 5th. I worked with Janet about 13 years ago at EDD. I knew Pat as well. I don't know if you can ever recover from this, but may God be with you. Take care.
