Craig's untimely passing is so senseless to me; it feels like the wedding was only just yesterday. I wish I could ease my sister's pain and bring back my baby nephew's father.... I just feel so helpless at the moment. I will always remember him as a loving and devoted husband and dad. The image I remember most vividly of he and Jake bonding was Jake laying on Craig's chest, dressed in his little Raiders pajamas as they both enjoyed a Sunday afternoon game together on the television....was such a precious sight to behold. He was a total jokester, as well. The little quips that would come lout of his mouth......he was always teasing me and my sister and making us laugh! It's a loss such as this that make me realize JUST how fragile life is. None of us are promised a tomorrow and we need to all remember to live for today and truly love and cherish one another. I will miss my "bro" and what he brought to our family dearly. I know God and his newest angel will be watching over you and little Jake, my dearest sister.

I never got to know Craig as all of you have. I remember him as a happy, fun loving little boy. The last time I saw him was at his fathers funeral 10 years ago. I am getting to know Craig better today through the wonderful memories and tributes I have read on this site. It is obvious that Craig grew up to be a wonderful, caring, deeply loved and respected young man. No words can ever really ease the grieving heart and Craig was taken from us much too soon. Babe, The baby and I miss you so much! You are so unique and there will definitely never be another Craig. It brings us great comfort to see how many friends you have. I remember how you would tease me about being bossy and wanting to be Jake's mommy and daddy but now I really do have to step up and be his mommy and daddy. I haven't forgotten the endless conversations we would have at night about how you wanted to raise Jake. Jake will be well taken care of and very loved and there will not be a day that goes by that he won't know his "dada". You have one dream that came true and you are now home with your father catching up on the past 10 yrs. I just want to say my thoughts go out to Craig's wife and son and all of our family in California. Craig and I were very close as kids and even as teenagers and those are my best memories of him. I remember Craig as such a sweet little boy and the joy of his mother's heart. I only saw him occassionally but watched hime grow into a teenager and then such a fine young man.
