Obituary of David Lyle Williams

Mr. David Lyle Williams of Stockton passed away unexpectedly Monday November 13, 2006 at the age of 56. Mr. Williams was born April 18, 1950 in Modesto, California to John and Joyce Williams. Mr. Williams worked as a maintenance Technician for the Lodi Unified School District at Bear Creek High School for the past 13 years before retiring in 2001. He previously co-owned and operated the Williams Brothers & Sons Chicken Ranch in Galt. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Lodi and enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, trips to Dillon's Beach and spending time with his family and friends. He will be best remembered as a loving husband, father and son, as well as for his talent for restoring outdated household items. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Betsy Williams of Stockton; 4 sons, Mathew and Michael Williams of Galt; Edward Campbell of Hunting Beach; Scott Campbell of Ceres; 2 daughters, Misty Jaymot of Galt; Roxanne Campbell of Ceres; Mother Joyce Williams of Lodi; 1 brother, Mark Williams of Acampo; 1 sister, Sharon Worthen of Lodi and 16 grandchildren. A church service will be held Monday November 20, 2006, 11:00am at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Lodi, followed by a private interment.
