I only worked with Dave for a short period of time, but in that brief time I was able to get to know a very kind person. Dave was always there if you needed anything or just to have a nice conversation. I am very sad to hear of his passing. I wish there were more people like Dave on this earth. He will be missed very much by so many people.

I had the good fortune to work with Dave. If something needed to get done, Dave was the man. Better yet, I considered it a privilege to have been his friend.
I remember Dave well. He was always so helpful and had a great sense of humor. I think he had to change the locks on my classroom door 3 times because the initial lock mechanism was very cheap. Bear Creek facilities leaked and we had rusty mechanisms in our steel doors, they hung heavy steel doors on aluminum frames so the doors always had trouble wehn we first opened. Dave was always helping with my classrooms moves as well. the first year the administration move my class 3 times.
