Dear Rick and Sharon, Your family has been in my thoughts and prayers these past days. I know how it is to lose a son. I lost my Jonathan 2 years ago coming on this next month of April 10th. Rick, Jonathan admired you and respected you so much. Sharon, we've known each other a long time and you are like a palm tree christian; one that will bend but never break. My He comfort you and be your shield today. Jason and I were talking about Brian the other day when they both were in Royal Rangers. Brian could do the most push ups more than any other boy there. Apprarently, when Jason or other boys got into trouble they had to do push-ups. Even though Brian wasn't the one in trouble he would always get down with the others and participate cheering them on. What a beautiful memory for my Jason. With love, Janie and Jason

I've known Brian since we were children at Century, although for some reason we didn't become close friends until we became adults. Once, Brian said to me, "Chris, you know...you and I are the type of friends who could go our seperate ways for years, and then when we see each other again, take right from where we left off". He was right. About 6 or 7 years ago, we hadn't seen each other in a while and went out to eat at Lyons and it was just like he said. We talked and laughed that night until it got pretty late. We shared with each other about some of the things that were going on in our lives. I think the thing I remember the most about that visit was when he told me how thankful he was that we serve such a forgiving God. We talked about the mistakes that he and I had made over the years and to the present, and began to realize how much alike we were. I remember he told me that his biggest success in life was his children. He always made a big deal about his kids. He was such a proud Father. Over the past few months Brian has been on my heart and mind more than ever and I will miss him so much. He was a great friend to me. Brian...we have a lot to catch up on. We'll all see you soon. Until then, I know you will have your arms wrapped around Jesus.

Rick and Sharon, I was so sorry of hear of Brian's death. From the memorial I assume he died from diabetes. As you know, John had diabetes, which was diagnosed around the time he was 35. The Lord was good to keep him alive as long as He did. My prayers and thoughts are with you. Joyce

Brian will be remembered for the loving person he truly was. He was a proud and devoted father, loved his family and friends. I can remember times when i was going through hard struggles in my life and wasnt sure how to move past them Brian would always be there to help me, and whenever he saw me he would always come up and see how I was and give me a hug. I will keep in my heart all of the good memories that I have of Brian and cherish them. My heart and prayers go out to his children, parents, sisters and the rest of his family who loved him dearly. Brian "Until we meet again, May God hold you in his hands"

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and children at this time. We remember Brian as a wonderful father. We would see him picking up his children from Century Christian school and participating in the events at the school. Even though our paths drifted apart as our children graduated from CCS and went on to different high schools we remember him as a devoted father. We are are so saddened by the children's loss as we know how much they loved their father and how much their father loved them. Our prayers are with you.
