Obituary of Ida M. Stromayer

Mrs. Ida M. Stromayer of Manteca, California and former resident of Gunnison, Colorado passed away Wednesday March 28, 2007 at Lodi Memorial Hospital in Lodi, California at the age of 63. Mrs. Stromayer was born February 24, 1944 in Beaumont, Texas to Louise and Ida Nunnally. Mrs. Stromayer owned and operated I&L Janitorial Service in Gunnison, Colorado for many years before retiring in 2005. Mrs. Stromayer was a long time member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Gunnison, Colorado. Her compassionate nature and trust in people gave those that she met a sense of true friendship as Ida met no one as a stranger. She was well known and liked in the community of Gunnison and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She is best remembered as a loving and devoted mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed. She is survived by 2 daughters, Dr. Christina Antoine of Manteca, California; Lauresia Tate of San Bernardino, California; 2 sons, Joseph Stromayer of Gunnison, Colorado; David Antoine of San Jose, California; 3 sisters, Marion Solomon of Palo Alto, Lois Wilson and Evelyn Thomas of San Jose, California, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheila Antoine in 2003. A memorial service will be held Wednesday April 4, 2007, 1:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses; 1050 Union Rd. Manteca, California, followed by a private interment. Arrangements are by the Lodi Funeral Home, Lodi, California
