Albert Carl Young of Lodi passed away in Stockton on April 5, 2007 at the age of 95. He was born on December 24, 1911. Mr. Young served in the U.S. Navy from 1929-1932. He moved to California from Texas after WWII, first settling in Torrance. He worked at Mobil Oil Company, retiring in 1979. In 1981 he moved to Lodi. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and stamp collecting. Mr. Young was a member of Century Assembly. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Young of Lodi and two step-daughters, Dolly Volking of Idaho and Claudia Campbell of Arkansas and two step-granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Molly A. Young. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Cherokee Memorial Park. There is no visitation.
