I did not know this brave young man but we want to thank him and his family for producing such a hero. We will be forever in debt to Mark and other fine young people who are protecting us. May God take care of him.

Roger and Family, Lulay and Family, It was a while back when I first met Markie. My vivid recollections were of him playing with Roger/Cip in the house on Boston Ave. He was about 3-4 yrs old. I had just joined the Army and so I was not around Stockton much. Next thing I heard from my sister Mila was that he had passed. Just to have known him that short period of time, was a blessing. He was always a happy, smiling kid, just like he has grown up to be. He will be sadly missed by all who who knew him. You are in a better place now. RIP Fellow Soldier. SSG Janeth Porter, US Army
