As Noreen's cousin, I shall always cherish our memories, first as children during her visits to Watertown, S.D., and in later years when she traveled to the Atlanta area on business and in visits to Glen and Kerri when they lived in Atlanta. Noreen's fun loving spirit and zest for life always made our visits and telephone conversations moments to cherish. We will always remember Bill and Noreen's wonderful wedding reception and the chance to meet Bill's family and reconnect with Mike and Angela after many years. We send our sympathy to all of the family, and Noreen, we shall miss you dearly.

As sorority sisters in college at Montana I had the pleasure of making college memories with Noreen. We had a great house with 36 "sisters", including laughter, tears and lots of good times! I really enjoyed seeing Noreen and spending time with her at our reunion a few years ago. I know how happy she was to be married to you Bill. I only wish that you would have had many more years together. I am sending my sympathy to you Bill, and also to Noreen's family. May wonderful memories comfort all of you.

As grandparents of Shane and Kevin, we share in Noreen's love of her children and grandchildren. The boys brought joy to her, as they do to us. She loved them dearly and will be remembered for that love and caring. Having known Noreen through her son Glenn, we have fbecome part of her family. Our daughter Kerri is fortunate to have had Noreen as a mother-in-law. Noreen is loved and will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with Bill, Glenn, and Dan, as well as with the rest of her family.

Dearest Bill and Family, I am so enormously sad to hear of Noreen's passing. Everytime I think of Noreen, I smile and laugh. We have had some fun times together. I always remember the trip that we took to Ireland and for the very first time, in both of our lives, we found out what it was like to truly relax. We started laughing at ourselves at the unique feeling. Bill, she was so blissfully happy with you and so blessed to have you in her life. I feel so honored and blessed to have known her in my life. Her spark and joy is truly missed. Pat

Before I left Dr. Hashimoto's office I had the pleasure of seeing Noreen and Bill one last time before I moved to Las Vegas. I regret that I won't be able to attend the service but I will be praying for the family and friends. My best to Bill and family. Noreen adored her family and spoke to me about each one in her loving and humorous way! Our times together towards the end are memories to treasure! She and I had a little nap holding hands together! Just before that, she was looking at a photo of her 2 grandson's telling me, " I called the church to send me 2 angelical angels and here they are"! Although I was Noreen's favorite (and only) brother, I felt that I really got a chance to know her when she was a Senior and I was A Freshman at the University of Montana. She was a quick-witted sister who always kept us smiling. She should be proud of the kids that she raised and the grandkids that they raised. They are loving & caring people like herself. She was a wonderful wife to Bill & enjoyed family life. She will be missed by all who came in contact with her. Love, Mike

Dear Bill and family At their meeting on Friday last, the City of Nelson Civic Trust resolved to send a message of sympathy to you. You and Noreen have had a special place in the history of our South Street Project. While the building framing was still going up, Noreen was becoming our first unit purchaser of behalf or you both. She approached the development of this building with her usual "lets go for it" enthusiasm throughout the constrution stage, and she was such a great enthusiast and supporter for the work of the Civic Trust and this project. Her great talents turned this from a construction frame work, into a beautiful home for you both, and for you and those of the trustees involved, her memory will always shine when we are near South Street. She was a Star turn for us, and we remember her with admiration and thanks. Brian Mills on behalf of The City of Nelson Civic Trust 18 June 2007

Noreen and I have been friends since High School. We were roommates in San Francisco when she just finished college and I was a flight attendant. We had great fun and laughs and really enjoyed life in the city. Her job brought her to NY occasionally so we kept in touch when I lived in New York and in Connecticut. Jerry and I were delighted to meet Bill when Noreen and he came to NY for a Yankee game, then on to Connecticut to visit us. Noreen and I traveled to Paris together several years ago. She's been a true friend for so many years. Jerry and I express our deepest condolences to Bill and family.

She will also be missed by the many friends she made in Nelson, New Zealand and beyond. Our love and sympathy goes out to Bill and the family. She loved you so much and was very proud of you all. Noreen was not just a relative I cared very much about but a friend and at times a special confidante. She has not had an easy life but her wonderful sense of humor and the ability to laugh at herself made the hard times easier to bear, especially when she fought numerous illnesses. My mother always referred to her as 'that beutiful lovely lady'. She really was so much fun to talk to and be around, I will miss her very much. However, I know that as long as our loved ones remain in our hearts they will live with us forever. So, good-bye dear Noreen, I can just image the witty line you gave St. Peter at the Pearly Gates.
