For many years I rode my bicycle across town to get my haircut at Herman's. Not only was he up to date with the latest haircuts, he always took the time to ask how school was going and how my folks were. I think about him every time I pass the old shop on North Church St, and his kind, caring nature. I thank God our paths crossed.
