Obituary of Benjamin Matthew Gloff
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved young husband, devoted father, and avid sports enthusiast, Ben Gloff. He was tragically taken from us on August 3, 2023, leaving a void that can never be filled. Ben’s life was a testament to the power of love, family, and the unwavering passion he had for his favorite teams.
Born on February 15, 1986, Ben came into the world with a vibrant energy that drew people to him. From an early age, his curiosity and optimism were apparent, setting the stage for a life of exploration and fulfillment. Ben’s journey brought him to Ashlee Gloff, his soulmate, with whom he shared a love that was as deep as it was inspiring.
On August 16, 2019, Ben and Ashlee welcomed their greatest joy, a beautiful son named Eli Gloff. Ben’s dedication to fatherhood was unparalleled, as he reveled in every moment spent with his precious son. His unwavering support and guidance will forever shape Eli’s path in life.
Ben’s parents, Laurel Gloff and Doug Gloff, nurtured his growth, and were pillars of love and support in his life. His extended family held a special place in his heart.
Beyond his role as a husband and father, Ben was a fervent sports fan. He was an ardent supporter of the Golden State Warriors and the San Francisco ‘49ers, always rooting for his teams. His enthusiasm was infectious, and he could often be found passionately discussing game plays and stats with friends and fellow fans.
Ashlee, Ben’s loving wife, shared his deep passion for the Lord and stood by his side through all their joy and pain. Her mother, Christine Shults, and her stepfather Richard, as well as her brother, Carter Thomas, formed a tight-knit family that embraced Ben with open arms. Ashlee’s father, Gary Jordan, and stepmother Shannon Jordan, along with brother Aidan and sister Madison created a strong support network that Ben cherished. Her grandparents, Rich and Jeanette Thomas, and Terry and Gayle Jordan, played significant roles in Ben and Ashlee’s union and life.
Ben’s memory will forever be a source of inspiration and warmth. His infectious smile, hearty laughter, and boundless spirit will continue to echo in the hearts of all who knew him.
As we say goodbye to Ben in this earthly form, may his soul find eternal peace. Let us remember the love he gave, the joy he spread, and the passion he embodied. Through our actions, may we carry forward his legacy of unwavering dedication, fervent love, and boundless enthusiasm for family and those he held dear.
As requested by family, the memorial service will be private.
