A very special friend that will be forever missed. We fondly remember many shared dinners, playing cards, building projects and target shooting. He was always available to help with projects, offer sound advice and loan a tool if needed for one of my own projects. Anywhere we would go with Wendel he would inevitably run into at least one or two people that would also call him their friend. We all miss him.

Uncle Wendy,
I will miss your benevolent and generous character. So too will family, friends, and many others who call Lodi, CA home. Thank you for always supporting my youth sports and going above and beyond to bring family together. I will always remember our family reunions at Legion Park and Odd Fellows. Thank you and may you rest peacefully knowing you made such a positive impact on so many.

I will sorely miss you my friend! You were a refreshing man of solid character and I was truly blessed to have you in my life. Our weekly dinners were special times, but your annual Christmas gatherings at Pietro's spoke volumes of your kindness to friends and family. Your friendship enhanced my life and I am forever grateful for our time together. You were an inspiration to the entire community. Carol and I extend our condolences to Lorie and the immediate family.
Thanks for being you! Our love forever - Lonnie & Carol

I will miss you Wendy. What a horrific loss to your family and friends. My knowing you was a real gift and I considered you as a close friend. I always appreciated your guidance to get things done @ the Lodge. It was easy working with you because of your talent, wisdom and sense of humor. Not many people in this world have your qualities. Thats why you will be missed so much. God bless you Wendy, thank you for coming into our lives. You will never be forgotten...Roger Sperring
