Clora Greene, age 89, went to rest on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, in Stockton, CA. Clora was born on September 12, 1930, in Bivens, TX to the late Sylvester and Lenora Jordan. She graduated from Rambo High School in Bivins, TX and attended college at Saginaw Valley University in Saginaw, MI. She retired from Saginaw County Hospital as a nurse, and Saginaw High School as para-professional in 1978. She lived in Texarkana, TX, Saginaw, MI, Albuquerque, NM, and finally Stockton, CA. Clora was a devout Seventh Day Adventist Christian, church deaconess, and a member of the Dorcus Society. She served the church faithfully for many years until her failing health. She was a loving, and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. This loving kindness extend to the many children she provided childcare for in both Texarkana, and Stockton. Clora is survived by her sister, Janice Gregory of Saginaw, MI, and three children: Barbara Greene of Stockton, CA, Michael Greene of Saginaw, MI (wife Delphine Greene), Vickie Davis of Stockton, CA (husband Eric “Doug” Davis), and daughter in-law Monica Greene of Concord, CA. Clora, affectionally known as “Ganna”, leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grand, 4 great-great grand, and a host of nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Arthur Greene Sr, her son Arthur “Duke” Greene Jr, and her two brothers, Sylvester Jordan Jr (wife Lizzie Jordan), and Richard Earl Jordan. Clora will always be remembered for her infectious laugh, and her glowing smile. She was known for excellent cooking skills, and being a gracious host. All were welcomed at her table. “Ganna” filled our lives with happiness, and unconditional love that we will carry in our hearts forever.
