Dick was a friend who enjoyed going out to lunch especially for seafood, a good steak or a chocolate dessert. Never one to be taken advantage of, he always made sure we paid our share. He liked getting together to watch sports--local men's and women's volleyball, college basketball, golf and pro football. He had many interests which he enjoyed sharing with others during holidays at our home. Dick introduced us to Hoopsters, a fantasy basketball game that he organized, and Little Johns toffee. We enjoyed listening to him talk about the successes and sufferings of his stock market buys. He was the only person we knew who never watched movies. We will miss the steady presence of him in our lives.
