Obituary of Gloria Ninfa Amaya

Gloria Ninfa Amaya passed away at Lodi Memorial Hospital, Friday morning June 26th, 2020 at the age of 61 due to cardiac complications. Gloria was born in Texas to her mother Josefa Trinidad Peña Camargo and father Francisco Amaya on February 10th, 1959. She is survived by her two children, daughter Carmen Viramontes and son Francisco Jesus Amaya along with two granddaughters Deyannita Balantac and Evangeline Balantac. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and sister. Gloria attended Mission Texas High school in 1979 where she was awarded her high school diploma. Gloria continued her education as a medical assistant and received a certification of completion in 2007. Our mother was a devoted single parent who worked very hard to provide while having multiple jobs. Through tears, blood and sweat her children, family and friends by her side she constructed her very own beautiful dream home in Galt, California from the ground up which was fully completed by 1999. Gloria truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, enjoying an ice cold Pepsi beverage and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She always seemed to keep those around laughing. Gloria loved arts and crafts, dancing, being outdoors fishing with loved ones, she was also passionate about collecting antiques and elephants which were her all time favorite spiritual animal. During her free time she enjoyed participating in local street fairs and community centers to distribute food to the less fortunate families. Gloria had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way which made an impact on many lives from giving friends and family a shoulder to lean on as well as opening her home. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile and joyful spirit. Your life was a blessing, Your memory is a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
