Barbara Jean Whittaker passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at the age of 72. She was born to William and June Olson in Duluth Minnesota. She was the older of two daughters. The family moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado when she was a child. When she graduated high school, she went on to getting her nursing degree from Bethel school of Nursing. After starting her nursing career at Memorial Hospital, she met the love of her life, Kenneth Whittaker. They married and moved to California and raised their daughter, Heather. Barbara loved bowling, singing, spending time with family and being grandma to her two grandchildren. She spent several years getting together daily with friends for tea and cards. Barbara is survived by her daughter Heather (Mike), grandson Jacob, granddaughter (Joseph), sister Gene (Robert) and nephews Bill and Bobby. She also has a lot of loving family on the “Whittaker” side. Barbara was loved dearly and will be missed by all family and friends who knew her.
