Obituary of Billie D. Lang

Billie Dove Lang, 75 of Lodi, passed away May 31, 2003. Born Billie Thompson on December 14, 1927 in Haskell, Texas. Billie moved with her family from Brownsville, Texas to Indio, California and then Lodi, California in 1941. Billie was a homemaker who was an avid gardener and a fabulous cook (nearly famous for her apple pie!). She leaves to cherish her memory her sons; Bruce E. Lang of Lodi, Lonny G. Lang and his wife Carol of Murphys, and Rodger D. Lang and his wife Lisa of Washington., daughters; Sue Gann and her husband Lester of Valley Springs, and Rickie Bertsch and her husband Jim of Acampo., Brothers; Jerry Thompson, Jr. of Acampo and Tommy Thompson of Corning., Sister; Wanda Mehlhaff of Lodi. 7 Grandchildren and 15 Great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Lionel E. Lang and her son Jerry Lang. Friends may visit Tuesday from Noon until 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
