What a blessing Aunt Dee has been in my life ! She was always so anxious to share with others of her relationship, service, and experiences with the Lord. I enjoyed so much talking to her about it, and the stories that she sharred about her many travels. She was a quiet lady, but one who lived her entire life for the Lord, and always willing to do more! She had faith as big as the ocean, and was a wonderful example of being an obedient servant. It was very hard to see her these last few years, as she was not the Aunt Dee that I hold in my heart. As hard as it has been for her, God had a very special plan for a very special lady. She is now at peace, rejoycing, and as always continuing to serve a wonderful Savior. She has not left us, she has "GONE HOME" and we will be together again. What a day that will be :-) ...........Love, Sue

Aunt Dee was a very special lady. She taught me so much. Her love for the Lord was life changing for me. We had so many long talks about Jesus. It was because of her I rededicated my life to Jesus in 1989. I will always remember her special touch and remarkable love for people. Aunt Dee impacted my life in a very powerful way. Thank-you for everything you taught me. Thank-you for your love, your kindness and for being a true servant to our Lord and Savior. I love you Aunt Dee. Until we meet again.....Love, Sandy

I'll always remember the special times we had, whether her playing her organ (or letting us play), trying to teach me how to drive her little blue car (the first stickshift I tried to drive), watching us for the weekend while our parents were out of town (and making the thickest pancakes ever), or not telling me she made moose for dinner after her Alaska trip (until after I ate it, which was surprisingly good). She was always very happy to see us, and it was always a pleasure to visit her. We will miss her greatly.

So many wonderful memories are in my heart of Aunt Dee, it would be impossible to tell them all. But, a couple highlights. First and foremost was Aunt Dee's love for the Lord. She was the most incredible Christian I have ever been blessed to know!. The time the Covert's all flew up to Washington and we had the family get together at Aunt Phyllis' lake resort. I recently found a picture from the airport when they were leaving. Uncle Bud took me for my first plane ride, and I rode in the front seat. What a thrill!! And of course, when my dad, Aunt Dee's brother Fred was dying, she came and stayed with us for about six weeks. Without her, I don't know what we would have done. How Dad loved Aunt Dee!! They prayed together and gloried about the day that they would have the great Swink Reunion in Heaven. Thank you Lord for this most precious Aunt.

Aunt Dee was a very special lady as you all know. She loved everyone unconditionally. She loved my Mom (her sister Donna Mann) and my brother unconditionally. When they were dying she was there praying for them and being there for all of us. I lived with Aunt Dee and Uncle George for 2 summers on weekends. What fun and the teasing there was was always going on. There was no worring about life situation, they just gave the problems to the Lord. Their faith was the stronest I have ever seen. I thought how close to perfect a family could be. I loved her very much and I will miss her talks about anything, but now she is in heaven with most of her family and Uncle George. What a blessing and reunion that will be. Thanks for always being there. We love you all.

As anyone who knew her would agree, Aunt Dee was a very special lady. When I was discharged from the Air Force, in California, she and Uncle Bud invited me to live with them and be a part of their family while I attended Stockton Jr. College. I lived there for a year and a half, during which time she always had a positive outlook and a smile for everybody. Aunt Dee was a person who brought joy to everyone who knew her, and once you met her, you were a friend for life. I don't ever remember her saying a cross word to anyone. her star is shining bright in heaven, waiting for us to join her. We will miss her.

Dee was a very strong Christian and I love her as a sister. During the time she stayed with us during Fred's illness, I had the honor of growing even closer to her. I don't know what we would have done without her. I know she is in God's hands. I love you, Dee. Till we meet again!!
