Elda Alpha Cromwell was born October 9, 1910 in Crows Landing, California. She passed away September 20, 2003 in Lodi, California at the age of 92. Elda moved to Lodi with her family at a young age. She married Loren Cromwell on July 21, 1928 and the couple made their home in Lodi. Elda enjoyed crochet, knitting, solving crossword puzzles and travel. She was a member of the Lodi Garden Club, The "Hens" Club and together with her husband the Retired City of Lodi Employees Club, and the Lodi Trailer Club. She is survived by her sons; Charles Cromwell of Lodi, Lyle Cromwell of Eureka, and Ronald Cromwell of Mountain Ranch, her daughters; Carolyn Peterson of Galt, and Henrietta Felion of Sacramento, sister; Arlene Griess of Lodi, 14 Grandchildren 25 Great-grandchildren, 5 Great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Loren Cromwell, Son: Gerald Cromwell, Brother; Elton Wallis, 1 grandson and 1 great-grandson. Friends may visit Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and are invited to attend Funeral Services Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Lodi Funeral Home, 725 S. Fairmont Ave. Interment at Lodi Memorial Cemetery will be private. Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
