To the Freshour Family: We were saddend to hear of Aunt Gladys' passing. She was always there for support when my Mom, Lucy, and Dad, Charley, were both ill - I appreciated all her kind words. I always looked forward to her Christmas cards and still have many of them. Unfortunately, we will not be able to attend the memorial tomorrow, but will be with all of you in prayer. May God be with all of you. Love, Shirley and Milton Kleim

Aunt Gladys was a very special Aunt. She will be remembered for all her kindness and thoughtfulness. Her and Uncle Eddie gave me many great memories with their pictures, stories of the Blighton/Franklin Families, times spent at their home, camping at the ocean and especially the family gatherings for the annual parade. My prayers and thoughts are with Dee and her family and Jim and his family. You will be greatly missed. With loving thoughts and memories, Jackie

To The Freshour Family, I will not be visiting Aunt Glady today. I will be at the service tomorrow. I have chosen to remember her in the memories I have of when she came to my house with my Mom on Sunday mornings to have coffee and chat, never complaining of anything. And when the weather was right she would pick the grapes out of our vineyard, and always had a comment about my flowers and plants. Also, her being so proud at the family picnics when she brought her yummy salad, that I never got the recipe for. The smile on her face at birthday lunches watching all of our kids and grandkids running around. I remember telling her in a card and in person how much fun I, as a kid and my kids had playing in her yard on Stockton St. it was like going to the park. The last and final memory I have is of her looking up at me with her cute little shy smile when I was helping her get in my car after her doctor appointment and saying "thank you, I'm so lucky to have you nieces and my sister". I gave her a hug and said goodbye. She was a very caring, compassionate, and unselfish lady and she will be missed. God Bless, Judy

To my Aunt Glady, I will always remember the fun times spent with you, the ocean trips, all those Monday mornings at your alley house with my mom when I was small. The parade's and going to the festival. Always having your cookie jar full, remembering all of our kids with some sort of sweet gift. Billy loving it when mom would bring him over and the little ride car Uncle Ed gave to him one day, he still has it, wishing Morganne could have known you better. Thank you Aunt Glad. I know you are in a much better place now with Uncle Ed and family. You will never be lonley or sad again. I wished I could have helped you more. You will be loved and missed by all of us forever...... Vickie

As I try to place in writing all the love and caring that Grandma always had to offer to all, I find that it is hard to sum it up in just a few words. She was one that always looked for "the good" in all people, no matter who... always overlooked flaws and ready to help in any way that she could. As a Grandmother...I could not have asked for anything more ... the memories will last forever in my heart and I will miss her always!
