Whenever I think of you, Rosario, I remember you as a teenager...full of vinegar and laughter. You were always so kind in helping to interpret for your father in making his travel arrangements to Greece. You will be missed by myself and the many people whose lives that you touched.

I worked with Roz at Lusture-Cal when I was 15 years old. My mother, Donna Perry also worked there that was 10 years ago and she still sent us Christmas cards every year. She was always very happy to hear from us and seemed to be very interested in what was going on in our lives. She was a very special, loving person who will be missed by all who knew her. I just found out today (Wednesday at about 1:10) about her passing and my mother and I are very upset that we could not make it to the service. We would like her family to know that they are in our thoughts and prayers.

I met Roz 10 years ago working for Lustre-Cal Nameplate. I felt like I had no friends until I got assigned to sit next to her. I was so excited because everybody in the office liked her. She became my friend and because of that many followed. We soon realized we knew "mutual" people and when some bad news came in one day, she called me at home. She said "I looked you up in the phonebook to tell you", "Because you are my friend". Those words have always stayed with me and that is what I think about when I think of Roz, that she was my friend. I moved to Sacramento 7 years ago and we kept in touch with letters, phone calls and pictures, but never saw each other again which is my fault for putting work first, I will always regret that, but know that Roz loves me anyway, because she is my friend. I pray to you Roz, and for you Dave, Alex and Kaylee. I know Roz is up there watching out for all of us. I will ALWAYS miss, love and think about you Roz, every day for the rest of my life you were are a VERY special person. I know in my heart I will see you again someday in heaven. Your Friend, Stacey.

I worked with Roz while she was at Lustre-Cal. I really liked her. She was always smiling and nice to everyone. I know that losing her mother was real hard on her, then she had a baby girl. The family will have to be strong to go on without a mother.

Rosario was one of the kindest, sweetest, most beautiful persons I have ever known in my life. I always hoped her health would improve but I guess it was not meant to be. I will always treaure the picture I have of her with her birthday cake when she turned 40 and most of all, her friendship. She will be deeply missed.

I will always remember that no matter what the circumstance Rosario would come to my office with a smile on her face. She had such a happy spirit. Even a few weeks ago as she was about to begin Chemo. she was positive and full of hope. Since our children were only a few months apart she would always go out of her way to ask me about my daughter. I am so thankful they got to play together at Granny's. We have lost a dear person and we will all miss her very much. My heart goes out to the family and I just pray that they can find some peace knowing she is with her Lord. God Bless. Steve, Kristie, Kayla, and Allyson Bender

I met Zida because our children both went to the same grammar school. She was the kindest person and always went out of her way to say hi. We spent a couple of Friday nights playing bingo at St. Annes and I had such a wonderful time. I already miss your bright smile. My heart hurts for her family as I know they will miss her very much. She was the most devoted mother I have met. You will be in my prayers always. God Bless you...I cannot wait to meet Zida once again in heaven someday.

Dear Joe and Family, We want to extend our sincere sympathy to you and your family in your great loss. We did not know your sister well, but did see her in your shop a time or two. She was a very beautiful young woman, with a ready smile, friendly and helpful. We pray that God will comfort you and your family, in your grief. May He also bless you with beautiful memories of your sister. She may have been taken from your life, but never from your heart. With sympathy and love, Elaine and Bernice

Rosario, I just served you few times when you came with your brother Joe to my restaurant, but in these few times I sensed what a charming, caring, loving and considerate mom you were. You took care of and mothered everybody at your table old or young. I recall how you made sure all your family members ordered what they wanted correctly, and that your husband, your brother and all the kids were fed before you, I recall how you cut the sausage into little pieces for the little girl. Angels like you belong to heaven where you are now not on earth. You will be dearly missed by a lot of people.
