Hello there kids This is your amiga here talkin to you from cyberspace... Listen, I recently lost my gramps to bone cancer and the sad thing about it is we never knew he was dying...we never even knew he was in the hospital and got to say our goodbyes to him. That was the most sickening day of my life when I found out we had lost him...and when he was passing to the other realm, I felt it in my soul and couldn't stop crying and had no idea what was going on...not until I found out that was the same time he had passed on. My gramps means the world to me, as I know yours does to you. It's hard to deal with and it's something that will never leave your heart - the pain of him being "gone." But you know what kids, he's NOT gone, as we know. Be thankful for the times you shared with him up to that very moment he joined God and turned into one of your angels from above. Be thankful you were blessed with a kind, loving gramps, since many are not. Mexicans believe that life and death are one. Death, also sad and painful, is something we must all face one day, and when it arrives, the beauty of that moment, that "rite of passage," is that now we will enter the Gates of Heaven to a new, different paradise with God and our loved ones we've lost in the past. Life on Earth is also paradise. Your grandfather was so blessed with a beautiful family and grandchildren such as yourselves that he was one of the lucky ones to go from Paradise on Earth to another one in Heaven. It's ok to be sad and hurt and mad. It's what makes us human beings. Just always remember that even though you don't see, hear, and feel him physically, that he is ALWAYS THERE touching you, hugging you and listening to every word you have to say to him. Love Always, Christina M. Snchez
