Obituary of GRACE MAY HEATHINGTON

GRACE MAY HEATHINGTON, 92 of Stockton, and formerly of Lodi, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2003 at a Modesto convalescent hospital. She was born on February 16, 1911 near Paden, Oklahoma, the daughter of Charles Roby and Eva Belle Whiteley Roby. Mrs. Heathington grew up in Oklahoma, where she attended local schools. In 1931, she married Lawrence Heathington and the couple came to Lodi in 1935. She lived in Lodi for many decades before moving to Stockton a few years ago. She was member of Pentecostal Church of God in Woodbridge, and served her congregation as church secretary and song leader. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and quilting. Friends are invited to call for visitation from 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 26, 2003 at Lodi Funeral Home, 725 S. Fairmont Avenue in Lodi. A graveside committal service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, November 28, 2003 at Cherokee Memorial Park, Highway 99 at Harney Lane in Lodi.
