My Nona was the greatest. She would always babysit my little cousin and I, and we always had so much fun. When we went over there, we always played pokerino (bingo), and had her famous pasta and latte cafe. I love my Nona and will miss her very much. GOD BLESS YOU NONA.

I too agree with Mike Locke~ School St. will not be the same without Mrs. Arena. I have very fond memories of this whole family, I will cherish forever. My God we had such good times at the Arenas'. That's what we called it. Never said I was going to see Margaret or Mary, just said going to the Arenas'. :) Wonderful smells from the kitchen, her spaghetti sauce was the BEST! and Cannolli to die for. Mr. Arena making his own wine! :) gosh the nats would make it miserable, he said they made it 'better'. Mary and Margaret having their usual fights, we could hear Mrs. Arena yelling~Marie! Margaret! Stop it, she would say in Italian, and then Mary or Margaret would come running out of the house crying and cause they got in trouble. We would usually just sit on the steps for fun, back in the day you could just sit and have fun. Mrs. Arena would always sit on the poarch when her house work was done, just for a little break. Then back to cooking... I wonder if she still had the same old demitasse pot, she always used. I will miss you Mrs. Arena, but the memories I have of you and your family will carry me a lifetime. Ci vediamo, Ciao' Palma
