Roberto Carlos Lombana was born April 6, 1984 in Tacoma, Washington. He passed away at a local hospital on January 12, 2004 at the age of 19. Roberto had been a resident of Lodi for the past 4 years. After graduating High School he began working in local restaurants and was most recently working at Starbuck's Coffee. He enjoyed sports, especially watching 49er games and playing basketball. He also enjoyed playing board games and was an avid history buff. Roberto is survived by his father and step-mother; Robert and Cheryl Lombana of Lodi, his mother; Pamela Sucatre of Placerville, grandparents; Francisco Lombana of New York, and Paul and Ellen Sucatre of San Leandro, sisters; Jennifer Lombana of Placerville, and Jessica Lombana of Lodi, and step-brothers; Christopher and Michael Pfennig of Lodi, and his loving pet "Fluffy". He was preceded in death by his grandmothers; Katherine Lombana and Adela Sucatre. Friends may visit Saturday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and are invited to attend Funeral Services on Sunday, at 1 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home, 725 S. Fairmont Ave., Inurnment will be private.
