Mr. Ervin "Buck" Rogers of Lodi and former resident of Stockton passed away Sunday January 25, 2004 at his residence at the age of 81. Mr. Rogers was born March 17, 1922 in Rogers, North Dakota, to Mr. Earl and Zetha Rogers. He owner and operated Rogers Trucking in Stockton before retiring in 1991, he also worked for various transportation companies in the Central Valley as well as the Bay area. He was a United States Navy and WWII veteran. He enjoyed writing in his spare time and had published "Double Identity" in 1998. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by 1 daughter, Patricia Reilly of Lodi, 1step-son, Jim Cash of Linden, 3 brothers, Ralph Rogers of Concord, Larry Rogers of WA, Jerry Rogers of WA, 4 sisters, Doris Davis of Greenville, Yvonne Baker of AZ, Loretta Mitchell of WA, Vivian Knight of WA, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded by his wife Virginia Jo Rogers in 1991, and 2 sisters. A private service will be held, arrangements are by the Lodi Funeral Home.
