Obituary of Jack L Rupert

Jack Leonard Rupert of Lodi passed away in Lodi on January 27, 2004 at the age of 72. Mr. Rupert was born on March 22, 1931 in Quincy, Illinois. He was in the Navy and stationed at Mare Island in the 1950's. He was a retired firefighter. He worked for the Santa Clara Fire Department from 1961-1971. He then moved to Half Moon Bay and worked for the Half Moon Bay Fire Protection District for 23 years until his retirement. He has lived in Lodi for the past 16 years. He was a member of I.A.F.F. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Rupert of Lodi; sons, Lance Rupert of Galt, Jeff Rupert of Half Moon Bay and Keith Rupert of San Lorenzo; mother, Evelyn Rupert of Quincy, Ill.; 9 grandchildren; sister, Wanda Biermann of St. Louis, Mo.; several nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Rupert.
