Otto H. Kundert of Lodi, passed away in Lodi on January 29,2004 at the age of 94. Mr. Kundert was born in Tolstoy, South Dakota on June 24, 1909. He later moved to Wishek, So. Dakota where he graduated from high school. He moved to Lodi in 1932. He was in the Navy in the 1940's. On September 28, 1947, he married Joyce Halgerson in Lodi. He lived in Lodi for 67 Years. He was a sales clerk for Schunkes and then The Toggery for over 45 years. After his retirement,he was self-employed as a talent agent for his company, A-O.K. Agency from the age of 65-80. He booked bands, rock-n-roll and country, for various social events. He was a member of Zion Reformed Church and the American Legion Lodi Post # 22. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Kundert of Lodi; daughter, Marilyn VanSchenck of Sacramento; son, Charles Kundert of Lodi; grandchildren, Christopher VanSchenck, Katherine VanSchenck, Brandon Kundert and Chelsea Kundert; brother, Vern Kundert, Daly City. He was preceded in death by brothers, Rueben, Eugene and Ervin Kundert. A Chapel Service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 PM at Lodi Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Herbert Schaal of Zion Reformed Church officiating. Committal will be private. There is no visitation. Contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
