Obituary of Gene Chesi

Gene Chesi of Lodi passed away on March 12, 2004 in Stockton at the age of 86. Mr. Chesi was born in Stockton on September 12, 1917. He attended McKinnley Grammar School and Stockton High School. He married Cleohma Ehrhardt on July 19, 1941. He lived in Lodi since 1947. He had been in the Army, and he was a retired machinist,welder. He had worked for Frolicker Manufacturing in Stockton and had been in this industry for over 40 years. He was a member of Sirs, the American Legion , Lodi Post 22, Lodi Trailer Club, Gem and Mineral Society, and past president of The Camelia Society and Ghost Riders of Modesto. He enjoyed rock collecting and lapidary work and traveling. He is survived by his wife, Cleohma Chesi of Lodi; children, Jacquelyn Chesi of Sacramento and Daniel Chesi of Lodi; sister, Mary DuBois of Santa Cruz. He was preceded in death by his sister, Evelyn Johnson. There is no service or visitation, and inurnment is private.
