Aunt Alice was a large part of my growing up years. I have many memories of the wonderful times I spent with Aunt Alice, Uncle Hank and Bonnie Mae. We had many holiday celebrations at her house. All the Knecht relatives, wonderful food and then the games we would play. Memories were made to last a life time. I am thankful she was a part of my life. My love and prayers to you, Bonnie, Marcel and your family.

I remember as a young child playing in Uncle Henry and Aunt Alice's house in Hurdsfield (especially the neat upstairs) and the wonderful German cooking from Aunt Alice's kitchen! I haven't seen her in years but the warm memories and the love will always be there as if it was yesterday. My love, thoughts, and prayers to Bonnie and Marcel and family!

My last three years of high school I boarded at the Weisz residence and went to school. It could not have been easy having me as a teenager under their roof but I have so many wonderful memories of how Alice made me feel part of the family. She was always so good to me and I loved her like a member of my family because in my heart she was. She made all those outstanding German dishes and the very thought of them make my mouth water. In addition, she was a talented lady who was always doing different crafts. I also remember as a Christian and always ready to witness for our Lord.

It's so hard to believe that Alice is gone. She was such a strong personality and so many of my favorite memories growing up involve her. How I loved to go to Hank, Alice, and Bonnie's house and spend time there, especially on Sabbaths! When I last saw her 2 summers ago, she was the same, just walking a little slower. She then said she wouldn't see North Dakota again and she was right. I'm glad to know that she is sleeping in Jesus and to her it will only be a second before she see Him coming back in the clouds.

Alice was a special friend. She was a kind, compassionate, careing lady. Thats only three, of many words I could use to describe her. She always was 'there' when we needed her. We love her very much and will miss her greatly. My very deepest sympathy.

I am so sorry. She always seemed so strong and always somewhere in the background of my life for so many years. Happy memories of your father and mother so many years. But now you have wonderful memories to carry with you. She worked hard and now is at rest but will be awakened soon. May we be there to meet her too is my prayer. Our good wishes in this time of sadness. Love Dessa and Bart

Alice was a very special woman, who's life influenced so many people. I will hold so many special memories in my heart going back from early childhood to the last years that she visited North Dakota. She was always "fortunate" to experience thunderstorms when she had her summer visits. I still have the dried flower arrangement pictures that Alice made years ago and they are hanging on my walls. So much talent, so much love, so many memories that will carry on for years. My sympathy and condolesences to all of you. Love, Rita

We will always remember Alice with her strong voice that was so recognizable. Granddaughter, Julie heard her in a restaurant about two years ago and knew that Grandma was there without ever seeing her and had not seen her for a few years. She dearly loved to have a meal of fresh fish that we had caught when she came to visit. May she rest in peace.

I so much appreciated Alice and her zest for life. When she found out I loved roses, within 24 hours I had a bouquet on my front porch. I always loved visiting with Alice because she seemed to love living. She will be sorely missed by alot of us.
