I remember Mr. Bettencourt first from school as the Maintenance man. He was always on the move taking care of our school. In high school, Trina & I became lifelong best friends (I cherish her friendship). I spent many Saturday nights at the Bettencourt home joining them for mass the next morning. Mr. and Mrs. Bettencourt always welcomed me and made me feel a part of their family. Mr. Bettencourt was always teasing us and laughing with us. I remember a big, loud, noisy family filling the house with their big, loud, noisy LOVE. Those were some of the happies times for me and I always remember Mr. and Mrs. Bettencourt most fondly. Though I am far away in Idaho, my thoughts are with you all. Cindy

Our deepest sympathy to all of you. I recall the years your family lived across the street, your wonderful Mother and hard working Dad. Your Dad always seemed to be on a mission for the next chore he was working on but still had time to wave. They together raised a wonderful family. A legacy to be proud of. May God comfort you in this sad time. Ken and Polly Johnson

I will always remember Tony with a smile on his face. He was a quiet man, but he always seemed happy. He loved his family dearly and you all are blessed to have had such a wonderful father.

From the few times I spoke with Mr. Bettencourt, I knew he was a wonderful person. His love and pride for his children and family shined through in everything he spoke of and his eyes would sparkle when he talked of their lives and achievements. He will be deeply missed.
