Obituary of Ruby A. Scholl

Ruby A. Scholl, loving known as "Granny Goose" passed away in Galt on May 28, 2004 at the age of 91. Ruby was born in Oklahoma on August 28, 1912. She moved to Torrance, CA in 1945 and then to Watsonville in 1968. She moved to Acampo in 2000. She was a homemaker most of her life, and loved her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed animals, cooking and pie baking, fishing, crocheting and visiting the ocean. She was a member of the first Baptist Church in Watsonville. Mrs. Scholl was also a volunteer for 16 years at the Watsonville Community Hospital. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Robinson of Acampo and Doris Shepherd of Ridgecrest, CA; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her children, Laura Joan Chance and Donald Ray Forth. There will be a private family memorial service in Watsonville. There is no visitation and inurnment is private.
