Obituary of Ruben S., Rios

Mr. Ruben R. Rios, Sr. of Galt passed away Tuesday June 1, 2004, in a Sacramento hospital at the age of 57. Mr. Rios was born March 31, 1947 in Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Merado and Josefina Rios. Mr. Rios was a truck driver for Pacific Ag. & Vineyards Inc. in Lodi, He also previously owned and operated his truck for various farms and distribution companies the San Joaquin Valley for many years. He was a member of St. Christopher?s Catholic Church in Galt, National Rifle Assoc. He was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed Hunting, Fishing, camping and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Mrs. Eva Rios of Galt, 2 sons, Ruben R. Rios, Jr. of Galt, Raul Rios of Augusta, GA, 1 daughter Margie Rios of Lodi, 3 sisters, Andrea Gomez of Mexico, Rosalva Rios and Catalina Rios of Brawley, CA, 8 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held Saturday June 5, 2004, 8:30 am at St. Christopher?s Catholic Church in Galt, followed by interment at the Lodi Cemetery. A rosary will be held Friday evening 6:30 pm at the Lodi Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday 12:00-8:00 pm at the Lodi Funeral Home.
