Our thoughts are with your family at this difficult time. Try to remember the good times and all the special memories that you share - it will help to lighten your burden. Lydia was our neighbor and she was so very sweet. I would visit with them once in a while. May the Lord be with you all and bless you with peace and the knowledge that you will be reunited with her again . Sincerely, the Thompson Family

Lydia was always so much fun to be around. She always had a joke to tell and was always laughing. I especially enjoyed coming to her house with her grandchildren, Ryan and Nathan. She always did such special things with them. She would take them to play golf or to the zoo or just play with them. They always got so much attention when at Lydia's house. One year I remember her coming to our house at Halloween dressed as clown. Ryan and Nathan loved it. She loved playing with them. I feel blessed that I new her and she was a wonderful grandmother to my children. She lived a full life and will be missed.

Carl,Larry, Charles and family members: These days of grief appear to be the darkest in the life of any family. I want ttoencourage you to continue to exercise a personal faith in Christ. Carl...you were blessed to have Lydia 68 years. God has been gracious to you. I want to encourage you to live out your life on God's schedule. Let Him be the one to decide when it is time to walk through the valley. You have two fine sons and daughter-in-laws...and four grandchildren to mentor and live out your life bringing joy to them. You have the gift of conversation. You are blessed with a very nice disposition. Remember the Bible passage I read with you in your home. Ephesians 3:14-21. Also...John 14:1-6. I would also suggest..Philippians 4:13. My best wishes for you and your nice family. If I can ever be of help, please let me know. God Bless You. Sincerely, Chaplain Berry
