Obituary of Elsie Knight

Mrs. Elsie Knight of Herald passed away Tuesday August 24, 2004, in a Lodi hospital at the age of 85. Mrs. Knight was born February 17, 1919 in Hollandale, Oklahoma to Oran and Mary Knight. She was a homemaker and foster parent to many children. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Earl Knight of Gerald; 1 brother, Rudy Norton of Galt; 3 sisters, Helen Shrum of San Jose; Paula Nova of Herald; Nora Colombo of Sacramento; numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Friday August 27, 2004, 2:030 pm at the Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery in Lodi. Visitation will be held Thursday 12:00-8:00 pm at the Lodi Funeral Home.
