I only knew JoAnn for a short time as she came to our Women of Light Bible studies at Zion Christain Fellowship. She sat next to me at my table the last Thursday that she was with us at WOL. It was sooo good to see her that night and it was wonderful to see her face shining with the Love of Jesus. She shared with us that night 'How God had Amazed her' by answering her prayer, searching her out and bringing her to Him that wonderful night about six months ago when he sent two very special women from our WOL group to her door to invite her to church and how she had finally found true peace with the Lord. I was very saddened to hear of her passing and I will miss her bright smile and warm hugs, but I have the comfort in knowing that I will see her again, and I know my sweet and wonderful Dad who went to be with the Lord a month earlier was there to greet her as she arrived! I know she is in Heaven with the Lord now and rejoicing with all the saints around God's throne.. I am truly sorry for your loss and my prayers are with all of you, her family and friends, that Lord will give you His perfect strength, comfort and peace in this difficult time.

JoAnn immiediately had a place in my heart. Out meeting was a 'God-Thing' and our friendship was 'God-initiated' so to us both it was very special. JoAnn was truly seeking change in her heart and life. She spoke often of her children...how much she loved them and they were always her prayer request when she came to our Women of Light meetings. The little animal print bag she purchased for me will always be special as will the zebra slippers she found for me as we browsed that morning of her birthday after I had taken her to get her hair cut. She delighted in seeing others smile and be happy. I have a picture of her motorcycle and truck that she had sent to me in a letter when we first met. If anyone in the family would like them please let me know. I would be happy to return them to you. I know JoAnn is happy and 'home free'~! I will miss her very much. My heart is with you as her family as you grieve. May God's love surround you.
