Obituary of Arthur Schott

Arthur J. Schott of Lodi passed away on October 26th in Lodi at the age of 95. Mr. Schott was born in Morris, Manitoba, Canada on December 6, 1908. He moved to the Galt-Lodi area where he has been a resident since 1928. He was a self-employed farmer in the Galt area, moving to Lodi in the early 1970's. He enjoyed sports, traveling and golf. Arthur is survived by 6 nieces and 1 nephew. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gladys Schott, second wife, Bernice Schott; 3 sisters, Bertha Palmer, Mary Mason and Helen Cottingham; 5 brothers, Adolf, Otto, Ernest, Gustav and Charlie Schott. Funeral services will be held in Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park on Monday at 10:00 AM with Pastor Dale Edwards of Century Assembly officiating. There is no visitation, and committal is private.
