Although my husband and I only knew Esther for a year, we loved her dearly. A Sabbath day was not complete unless I could get a hug and talk to Esther. She was one of the first persons we met when we began to attend church in Lodi a year ago. She made it a point to get to know who we were! We have seen her health deteriorate in the past months and we knew that it was difficult for her because she really wanted to do things that were no longer possible for her; yet, she was always joyful at being able to attend church. We will always remember Esther until that day when we meet her once again in the presence of our Lord. Carolyn & Rick Kiesz

I sincerely regret that we are unable to attend the Memorial Services and pay tribute to a life-long friend. We are still living in Mexico City, a tenure that will end with this year. I remember well the good times when our families would visit in each other's homes while Dad was pastor. Please accept our sympathies. It won't be the same going home to Lodi without anticipating seeing her!

I wanted to let all of the family know that Esther was like my mom when my mom passed away. I enjoyed her company, taking her with me on rides and out to dinner. We had alot of time that we visited. Esther was a great lady. Wanted to let you all know that I really think alot of all of you that I know. You had a terrific mom. I will miss her dearly. May God Bless you all during this time.
