A remarkable man, a wonderful father. He touch our lives in so many ways. He never said an unkind word, he was always ready to give of himself to help others. I remember him as a very hard working man. From cleaning offices, to the brick plant, to Johns Manville and finally Lodi Unified School District. I got to know the true man and his kindness after he retired. He served his country, his God and his family far and beyond the normal man would give. I will miss him and hold dear to my heart the memories we shared.

Dear Pauline and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Art was a very kind man. He always greeted life with a smile. I don't remember ever hearing Art complain. He was a happy man. I'll always remember the Saturday coffee's with my Grandpa and Art. They would tell their silly jokes and laugh. I would laugh along with them. Besides my Grandpa, Art was one of the last good Germans around. With sincere simpathy, Patricia
