I know this is late but I had set Mrs. Blackham's remembrance aside and could not find it... I just did. She was my 3rd grade teacher at Bay View Elementary School. Mrs. Blackham was so patient, kind and gentle. Memories bring back such warm and comfortable feelings. I loved the school and she was part of it. I went on to be a teacher too. My children are 4th generation students at Bay View. I could tell you what room I had with your mother and different things we did. I am so sorry at your loss but you have to know she had a positive and loving affect on more people than you may ever know. My prayers are with your family. Kathy Pappas Class of 1968.
