It was always so enjoyable when you all came to visit when I was young. It was even more enjoyable when you came to my house in AR. Donald and I (Dona) took a walk to the creek and saw a turtle and had some special time alone. He was excited about having his bedroom window open and hearing the rain. It rained almost the whole time you were here. Before we went to bed he asked what we were having for breckfast. I told him he could have most anything he wanted so he said ok we will have waffles. Very loving memories of a very loving man.

Humble, peaceful, friendly and trustworthy neighbor to the Cerney family was Don from 1965-2005. Across the street from our home throughout those years, Don and Darlene consistently represented fine family virtues that shine on in his legacy. We all thoroughly enjoyed the view of his fine landscape work and the annual Christmas lights. Thank you Don for being a good neighbor and friend to our family. Your rewards are now being received in Heaven.

My Family first met the Heils in 1961 when they moved across the street from us on Vine Street. Don worked for my Dad Al Schwartz. During the years we knew the Hiels their were many wonderful trips, The Grand Canyon and trips to Diamond Lake to go FIshing, were just two of the many my family took with Don and Darlene Heil and their family. when it snowed we would go up to Big Trees for the day. . Over the years I can remember many wonderful Dinners at the Hiels. Don is one who would load all of the neighbor hood kids into the car and we would be off to do something. I have many fond memories of Don Heil and he will be missed by all. The Schwartz Family
