I worked with Jean for a few years at Cricket in Modesto. I cannot recall a day when Jean was not in high spirits and eager to help anyone in the office. Such a personable person, the first day I met her, she welcomed me to the office team with a big hug. And who in the office can forget Jean leaving her daily vmail on all our cell phones, reminding us of upcoming meetings, etc. I remember coming to work on my birthday and finding a voicemail of Jean singing "Happy Birthday!" :-) I am glad I had the opportunity to meet and work with Jean. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. God Bless.

I remember Jean Marie best as a young girl on the ranch in Waterford surrounded by a beautiful orchard of trees with her sisters, cousin Patricia and cousin Barbara and her parents, Aunt Ethel and Uncle Don -- and lots of big, gorgeous, smiling Red Setter dogs. Jean Marie always had a bright smile for everyone.

Jean was stronger than we knew. It was hard to tell how bad she was feeling because she was always upbeat, always cheerful, in spite of the despicable illness that took her far too early from Jon, Rebecca, and Christopher. But they will still benefit from the time they did have with her. When they visited us in Colorado year before last, we were really impressed with what a cohesive loving family they were, and Jean was the center of that family, happy and content. I remember how optimistic she was that she had the illness whipped She will be missed. Keep Jon, Rebecca, and Chris in your prayers as they will be in ours.
